The forward's brother revealed he is not happy with the current situation at San Paolo, but affirmed he will honour his deal while hitting out at Argentina boss Gerardo Martino
The agent of Gonzalo Higuain has affirmed that the striker will not renew his contract with Napoli, as he accused the club of breaking promises made to the Argentine. Higuain scored 36 goals last season to help the southern Italians to second place in Serie A, 17 clear of next-highest scorer Paulo Dybala as he was crowned Capocannoniere.
Napoli finished well off champions Juventus, however, and his agent brother Nicolas affirmed he was not happy with the current situation at San Paolo.
"We came here with a plan for the Champions League, to be champions, to grow, and the club's response has not been ideal," he told Radio Continental.
"He has the right to ask for his contract to be terminated, but we will choose not to renew so he becomes a free agent in 2018.
